I am insanely anticipating Waicon09, it's going to be a lot of fun. I've entered into WAIMV (amv competition) and Saturday's cosplay competition. The Iron Chef AMV competition would be challanging but a bit intimidating so I have given it a miss this year.

I'm doing a skit with my friend as Naruto (same as last year) in Saturday's competition. It incorporates my beloved Naruto anime/manga with video games (lol we're getting it recorded so I'll have it uploaded to the net as soon as possible). I hope we get at least a few laughs else I'll feel extremely foolish. ;D

Went back to the sprite database to check updated sprites for the games. Naruto Shippuuden: Saikyou Ninja Daikesshu 5 now has sprites and they are fairly spiffy. I must update that game as a collection soon.

I am also going to separate the RPG and Saikyou Ninja collections into their individual games. It might take me a while so I'll do it when I find the time.

And the last thing I'm thinking for the collections is to create an icon for every character ripped for the game collections I have. Hopefully this will cut down on cross-game sprite requests, because it is quite confusing when in a lengthy session.

Hidden Beneath
Chapter 7 done and posted. I received a really good review and it gave me a lot of motivation and I got at least half of chapter 8 written. That was really fun and my fave chapter so far. I'll have to rearrange so of the plot in the next chapter as well.


Other fanfics
Possessive is getting a lot of requests for continuation or a sequel. I might actually have to come up with another one-shot plot for it or actually plan and finish the NaruSasu Possessive one-shot I started. I'm still surprised and flattered that my first attempt at serious shounen-ai is so popular.


AMVs
I lost 4GB of my most loved music and I had a couple of shorter songs to make AMVs from. I have the majority of them back now so I'll try to create one in the next month.


I'll be busy for a while, but I'm hoping to have at least one chapter and lineart done soon.

Hidden Beneath
Started chapter 7 of Hidden Beneath a while ago but there wasn't much progress. When I started holidays this week I thought I had lots of time to finish it for my birthday tomorrow. Well that's not gonna happen as I only got a bit of inspiration today and I still have half the chapter to write. I'll try and do it tomorrow if I have time.


Tsuriaichi
Third chapter incomplete for a couple of months now. I just need to finish a couple of paragraphs so I might post that tomorrow instead of HB.


Other fanfics
Moonlit Angel has been posted in various forms. It was going to be a two-shot but I think I'll just lengthen it into a long one-shot since it hasn't turned out like I originally planned but it's still good.

I finished a couple of drabbles for my Naruto Uzumaki claim @ 7rainbowprompts, and I have ideas for 2 more prompts. I hope my inspiration picks up and I'll be able to complete them quickly.


Multi-chapter Fic
There's this plot I've had for a while now about the consequences if Sasuke ever returned to Konoha. I've read a lot that (near the 3 year time limit and been dragged back) let him off extremely easy considering criminals are either imprisoned or executed. But after the developments of the latest manga chapters (~340-349) where Sasuke takes over Orochimaru, gathers a squad and embarks on a plan he had since leaving Konoha, I really want to see my new plot to fruition.
Basically Sasuke completes all his goals (besides clan reviving) and strikes a deal with the Hokage. Sasuke will become a tool for Konoha to use at will in the ANBU and no one but the most required people know that Sasuke Uchiha is alive. It's kind of a dark side/light side fic because I want him to have a life rather than imprisoning Sasuke until his skills are needed. That's something like Tsunade and Naruto would want.


AMVs
There's a couple of songs I really want to do AMVs for and luckily they're pretty short so I should be able to get them done fairly fast and before break ends.


Other writing
Not much in the way of other types of writing. My poems are fairly spontaneous so nothing there.


Artwork
I really want to get a reference pic and draw the character design of Sasuke from my newest plot. I've got the clothes sorted out and everything I want to include. It'll probably be very sketchy and not look like Sasuke at all (one of my plot points) *grins*

I've got some great news. I finally managed to get Photoshop CS2 onto my computer. That is, after I reformatted it and installed a wonderful 320GB harddrive. Yosh I have heaps of room to store images and video so now those planned AMVs can get started sometime this year. Also I'm going to install Vegas Movie Studio and play around a bit, though I'll probably still like Windows Movie Maker.

My domain flightyproductions.info has almost expired and the system is getting changed right now.

This means all of the images I stored @ my domain are unavailable and have probably been wiped. I have not lost them, coz they are all still on my harddrive but all icon posts I have made are in all purposes empty.

I don't know whether I'll change the posts and store the images elsewhere or just wait until the payment for my domain goes through and I get it back.

I've decided to turn flighty_designs from a strictly professional designer's journal into my creative journal. The following is the things I have in mind for this journal.

Alrighty, I got Fireworks back then I closed the program down and now it's !internal error! again, but I did get to create a few icons so I might post them soon. I have Photoshop CS2 but I haven't installed it yet. I probably won't until I know I have free time to do some icons as I start the second half of my web development course this week. I will likely be extremely busy with my main project but I always seem to find a bit of time for flighty_designs every now and again.

I've decided to branch out in my icon making and try some other styles. I've found some great textures and brushes I want to try out extremely soon. So look out for them in the future.

Yes I know I haven't really done any thing in such a long time, (except my lovely Sasuke AMV). I've have an idea for a batch of Naruto icons and I really want to do some Angel's Feather icons as well as I finally some great AF CGs.

But my stupid Macromedia Fireworks is throwing internal errors again so I won't be able to create icons for a few days. Hopefully this will change when I get my hands on Photoshop CS2, (I did have Photoshop at some stage but I didn't install it on my new computer).

I will have time for the next few weeks to hopefully do some large batches of icons and also make up some wallpapers for people to enjoy. I want to create some avatars from some of my favourite movies and I may get into the music icons so watch out for updates on them.
